We are pleased to announce you that Isumi rail starts to provide New Ekiben : Japanese train bento box at Otaki station from 1st of March.
The new Ekiben is named “Vege-Meal Bento” known as vegetarian vegan.
This bento is totally free of any animal products or by-products such as eggs or dairy products. It contains one or more of these components : all types of vegetables and fresh or dry fruit, including seaweed and sea vegetables.
It does NOT contain any type of meat, or animal products or by-products including honey.

No Meat, No Fish, No egg, No Lacto.
Our Vege-Meal Bento mainly contains as follows ;
kelp, edible seaweed, lotus root, unpolished rice, rape blossoms, soy bean, turnip, artichoke, Japanese yam, mushroom, white radish, carrot, broccoli, Chinese cabbage, pumpkin, eggplant, cucumber, tomato, plum and other local vegetables and fruits including soy products such as tofu and soy milk.
All materials are Japanese products and mainly gathered in vicinity of Otaki area in Chiba prefecture.
All materials are also farmed by organic policy without using any agricultural chemical, or any gene manipulation, cooked without using any synthetic seasoning or food additive. No microwave equipment used in cooking.
Seasoned by soy sauce, organic vinegar, natural koji molted miso, sesame, organic salt and suger.
This Vege-Meal Bento provides every Sunday from 1st March, only 4 boxes are served a day at Otaki station from 11AM. No weekdays and Saterdays.
Price JPY1800 including tax, served with Japanese hot green tea.
